Yes, it's true, cows do roam the streets in India. This one was just wandering our street like a stray dog. It actually stops outside of people's gates from time to time and they come out and feed it bread or roti (kind of like stove-top naan). Pretty amazing thing to see when you first wake up half-way across the world!
